Through knowing each of our residents' preferences and passions, we are able to enhance the quality of daily experiences and the quality of person-centred care.

Staff Training Curriculum
Palm Court achieves high standard of care through well-organised structured staff training and education. Staff undertake a series of blended modules of e-Learning and additional specialist training from private providers and East Sussex Social Services Training Department.
AMINA WHITEHOUSE
Registered Manager
Shaina has a true passion for caring for the elderly and brings a wealth of experience and expertise working in the healthcare industry - from being a care assistant and a team leader to making the transition to become a Registered Manager. She has also held Senior Management positions such as Area Manager and Operations Manager for leading UK domiciliary agencies and care homes.
Shaina forms strong bonds with relatives and healthcare professionals, ensuring the team delivers high standards of compassionate and person-centred care. She is the Home's Business Continuity Lead and Safeguarding Champion.
Evelyn Tolete
Deputy Manager
Andy Norman, a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN), comes to Palm Court with more than 35 years experience in the health care sector. In his role as Deputy Manager, Andy oversees our Staff Training and Development; and is our designated Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Lead ensuring all staff are following current Government Guidelines and IPC training is up to date. Andy also carries out all our COVID-19 testing for staff once a week and once a month for residents.
