Our care fees are based on a weekly charge that covers the services included within your personalised care plan. This includes 24-hour care, meals and snacks, and laundry services to support comfort and daily wellbeing. A two-week advance payment is required to secure a room, while important details such as notice periods, fee reviews, and changes to care needs are explained before your stay begins. If a resident is away from the home, including during a hospital admission, fees remain payable to keep the room available.
Exploring funding options and financial support
There are different ways care costs may be supported depending on your circumstances. Some residents may qualify for Local Authority Funding, Funded Nursing Care (FNC), or Continuing Health Care (CHC). Palm Court Nursing Home accepts NHS and local authority funding, with a top-up payment required if the funding provided does not cover the full weekly cost. We can help you understand the available options and provide guidance on the next steps so you can make informed decisions about future care arrangements.
